Mrs. Kratz’s 6th grade General Science class completed their study of plant and animal cells.
As a culmination of this study, each student designed and made an edible cell as a project. These were graded, explained, and shared as snacks with classmates.
Creative and fun!
In November, Mrs. Kratz’s 6th grade science class went to the Challenger Center in Paducah.
The students had a very successful lunar mission in the morning, and learned the technology of building a launch pad in the afternoon.
Students in Mrs. Kratz’s 7th grade Life Science class finalized their study of cells and microscopic life forms (bacteria and viruses).
They researched the microscopic forms and created a model of a bacteriophage (virus).
Mrs. Kratz’s 8th grade Earth Science class study of Inside Earth culminated in the research and creation of volcano models.
Projects were shared with the class and put on display.
